Any idea of a natural painless way to get rid of pink eye in a 5 year old? I was just wiping his eye with a wet warm wash cloth every hour or so but today he started crying and wiped his eyes and now BOTH of them look infected! Aaaaugh! Candace

You rock. That's why Blockbuster's offering you one month of Blockbuster Total Access, No Cost.

You can prepare a very strong tea, just the black, common tea. Make only the amount you are going to use for one wash. When it's cold, wash his eyes with these tea.

You can repeat many times, but each time make a new tea.

When I say strong, I mean about 2 tea bags in a quarter of cup.

I did this with great success in myself more than once.

Be aware that your hands and whatever you use to handle the tea and what you use to wash must be more than clean.

Thanks for the suggestions! I finally gave in and got him drops from the doctor's office. The second time in his life hes been there (first time for stitches) He just got done with spring break and now has taken another WEEK off. He needs to get his hyney back to school! However, my eyes are starting to burn a little and I suspect the little angel may have spread it to me. The lemon juice sounds like a good plan...... if I have it that's what I'll do. I even have lemons in the house right now!!! Candacehealth wrote:
