Guest guest
Umm, how about trying an oatmeal bath? Otherwise get some black walnut tincture and apply. I thought about chiggers, but they usually spread with itching.. You weren't near any weeds, poison ivies, etc were you? Suzitabbott@... wrote: Thanks for responding. I looked at both sites you included and what I have looks like a cross between a spider bite and a mosquito bite. The mosquitoes are just coming out now since the rain last weekend and we have screens on all the windows so I just don't think that's it although I did react to mosquito bites last summer more than usual. Because we live in the woods, we have the outside of the house sprayed for spiders twice a year as my husband has very bad reactions to spider bites. I am just not sure. After I left the house yesterday I noticed one more bite on my elbow but now have no new one's. I woke up at 4am itching and got up to double check there weren't any more. Right now they aren't bothering me all that badly and if they do itch, I try to just rub it a bit and not actually scratch. That's about all I can do. As for allergies, nothing that I am aware of just sensitivities to fragrances, additives, colorings etc. I have a cat that has never been outside and a dog that does but has never had fleas so I have ruled that out also. I am still wondering about the chinese buffet and at this point don't think that I want to eat there again to find out. LOL. Thanks for your input. Thanks for your input. If witch hazel isn't an option, or doesn't work well, put ice on them! Ev
Guest guest
Baking soda paste works well, too, as the venom is acidic, and baking soda is basic.
