Guest guest
I like the idea of adding ginger. It's one of those things we always keep on hand. Did you permanently stain your juicer when you juiced carrots, like we did? Peace, love, laughter Hi ,I started with carrots also, I juice 2 medium carrots, 1 medium cucumber, 1 apple(golden delicious), 1/2 lemon, and 2" piece of ginger root. I love ginger root it really gives the mixture a great flavor. I will have to try beets, I really don't like beets but everyone says they are really good juiced. Thanks, Craig .. Guest guest
"Did you permanently stain your juicer when you juiced carrots, like we did?" Is that a problem? And if it is, give it a good scrub with baking soda. Or you can soak the parts in a solution of dishwasher detergent and bleach. I've done that to clean up a juicer to sell. Guest guest
I don't see it as a problem. Merely amusing. Most people I've spoken to say they've juiced carrots first, and that they stained the juicer. I figure as long as it's clean, they are clean stains.
