My housemate was having a discussion with

her friend Regina who lives near Ojai about what she is doing (organizing a

prayer and healing and unity for the Chumash, there in Ojai) R was

telling me about what happened (ie. Sabotage, Monsanto and their whole ugly

pollution, contamination of the Earth Rivershed, ect. ) and Jan said ”wow,

Jinjie and her husband live in Ojai and they are very well connected.. and I

also thought.. Wowoeee, everyone on this list has quite an extensive website

and networking list also.. and what we both think would be most helpful for you

to help Regina counter

what is happening and to also draw attention and energy to the deeper issues..

the Chumash Indigenous rights to their sacred places and lands.. (yes, I am

also including Matilija Sanctuary here, because we all know that was once a

major village site) and the sacred hot springs.. upriver, the fact that that

used to be a thriving salmon spawning rivershed and also harbors a great deal

of diversity and wildlife, which Monsanto is polluting and contaminating and

destroying.. by spraying.. and the whole mess ought to be exposed and put

squarely into the publics eye, with the FACTS and the TRUTH..

so if you all can help get the word out

about what is going on, then you will also generate more support, more prayers,

more enlightening help, and more potential allies and resources to your cause

and Mission.. There are many issues on different levels being played out here..

The rights and vital necessity of Chumash Indigenous Peoples to speak up on

behalf of their original lands, and against environmental destruction.. also,

the issue of Matilija Springs, being their original village site.. and that is

passed out of Chumash control into the property of the county.. and now to

private ownership, and now..potentially back to the county.. who based on what

told me recently, wants to put it into public trust and then they plan

on taking down the dam, and it would be flooded and destroyed. Well, now is as

good as a time as any to draw great attention to the greater issues happening..

The very real important issue you are all

facing, directly that impacts and affects everyone who uses, or lives along

that watershed, is .. WHY is this large monopoly corporation (Monsanto),

who we all know is corrupt and one of the biggest destroyers of our environment

globally, and also is trying to buy and corrupt and control our global food

supply.. it begs the question to all citizens in Ojai, and Miners Oaks and also

to Ventura..

because we all know pesticides migrate, destroying life and the food chain

along the way.. the insects, are fist affected, then the birds who eat the insects,

then the fish who are contaminated by the pesticide and poison leaching into

the water, then the plant life is impacted, and the larger birds and animals,

areal impacted, because the basic truth is that WATER IS LIFE.. and all life

eventually goes to water, to drink.. including the issue, of the eventual

destructive impacts, into the ocean, down on the coast.. Are people really so

stupid to allow that company into their county’s back pocket.. for their

little experiments in poison??? How disgusting.. I am sure there is a

connection, to the work you were doing to empower and to bring together

Indigenous people and what this company stepped in to do to the

watershed… it ought to be against the law for anyone to poison, our

waters and our rivers, and it also ought to be law against the destruction of

not only human rights, but environmental rights, to life.. that the plants and

animals, have when they are being ignorantly desecrated.. there is no need for

this. I feel strongly that you should share your story as far and as wide

as you can get to go.. just share it.. with others, allow other peoples

networks and caring and compassion to be stimulated and for them to be

motivated about these issues.. The common denominator, is that no one wants to

be poisoned.. and no one would really support Monsanto, if they were aware of

the risks and the damage that they do and that cannot BE UNDONE.. Monsanto has

been blocked in every other country and nation except for ours.. the good ol US

of A, has too many corporate big boys who do not care about the peoples

interests and the next 7 generations’ future.. we must all take a stand

on these things.. I am sending you a link to see a Monsanto movie, online, and

to pass it on.. I f I were you, I would write up a clear and short email about

your work and what they are doing , both issues, and I would include a link to

Monsantos video, exposing them and who they really are.. and I would connect

and connect and connect, and allow others to send it out..try to get hold of everyone

in Ojai and the surrounding areas… .
