Guest guest
Hm. According to The Complete Homeopathy Handbook (Miranda Castro) - apply hot compresses soaked in Calendula or Hypercal solution for 10 minutes every 2 or 3 hours ... As to internal remedies: well, the best I can do from this book is eyelids, swollen; Ap., Euphr., Nit-ac., Rhus-t., Sep. eyelids, itching; Puls., Rhus-t., Sul. daytime; Sul. Maybe checking on one of those remedies would help? Ev I have a friend who has a sty under her left eye…actually, she’s had it for six days now and it’s more localized swelling/itching around the whole eye, but it started with a sty/lump on the middle of her lower lid. She’s done hot compresses (with Epsom salts and also with black tea bags)…it seems to get marginally better during the day and then is very swollen when she awakens in the morning. And it’s not disappearing fast enough to suit her. Any suggestions? (And may I pass them on to her?) Sharyn
Guest guest
Keep doing the hot packs and when it is really bothering her she can lay down with a fresh slice of cucumber over the closed eye lid. Every once in a while I get a bad one; they can be very irritating. Janet From: health [mailto:health ] On Behalf Of Sharyn E. Guest guest
I was told gold for a sty. Wear a gold ring and rub it constantly over the sty. I only had it once and it did work. in NZ Keep doing the hot packs and when it is really bothering her she can lay down with a fresh slice of cucumber over the closed eye lid. Guest guest
Can you be more specific for her, Suzi? I might be able to deduce what you’re talking about – eyebright tincture in warm water made into compresses?? – but I’m sure she won’t have any idea.
