Hi ,

Did she say why she bathed in it or what benefit she derived from doing so? Thanks!

Peace on earth.

Re: Home Brews

We used to have a member that was very into kombucha. I got some great info from her that I never knew. She claimed to actually bathe in it regularly.Peace, love, laughter>> I used to make kombucha tea. Now, if I'm going to spend a fortune in sugar, I use it for the hummingbird feeders.> > Ev> (For anyone who might not know this, NEVER use honey in your hummingbird feeders. It will ferment and kill the bitty pretties).

I don't bathe in pure 'booch, but I add some to DH's bath now and then. It

sometimes gets too sour and I have to find something to do with it besides

tossing it.

Wow! That's some big jar o' tea she brewed! Or was it diluted in the tub?

Either way - beats drinking it! Although I'd have to insist on rinsing it

off ... <snortguffaw>

" She claimed to actually bathe in it regularly."

Was that Tina? She used to have a forum about kombucha. Got a few messages a couple of months back and nothing since. Her neighbors were trying to have her evicted and committed. Hope neither happened.

If this is the same person she had a bathtub in the backyard filled with kombucha and SCOBYs. Some of my best "booch" comes from the SCOBY she sent me. I do hope she is alright and enjoying kombucha someplace nice.

Yes, it goes into the garden, to the goat and chicken water, cat water etc.

I wonder what it would do for the worm bin, but I hate to experiment and

have it go awry. The worm bin is doing very well.
