what are some of your goals

Hey guys I just wanted to check in and see what some of your 1st graders goals

are in the reg ed classroom......i went in to have lunch with Syd as I do every

Friday (because its PIZZA day lol) and the teacher and I got to discussing what

our plan was. She said they were thinking of putting Sydnie's 2 hrs together

instead of once in the morning and once in the afternoon....I said good luck

with that cause she doesnt want to be there anyway....I said I had considered

dropping it down to one....because she didnt like being in there that second

hour. She said well with all that is going on in the classroom you may want to

increase...ummm NO. Sydnie doesnt look at resource as a 'classroom' she does

so much better in the classroom...behavior wise. I can see a big difference in

Sydnie and the resource teacher (2nd year teacher) vs reg classroom..... When

Sydnie isnt performing or if the teacher is having an off day AND Sydnie isnt

performing...not a pretty picture.

Sydnie acts so much better in the reg room. We are looking at changing some of

Sydnie's goals and was interested in knowing what some of your kids goals

are/were for 1st grade.
