Guest guest Posted January 5, 2008 Report Share Posted January 5, 2008 I am , from Colorado (Hi Jeanette!). I am mom to Nick 15 and Noah 7 both with Down syndrome. Nick is in high school and loving it. He runs track for his school, joined DECA so he is working in the school store with peer support and reading Huck Finn for his English class. Noah is in 1st grade and doing well, he loves to test his teacher but she is very wise :-) Both boys have had heart surgery and Noah has asthma. Noah was a preemie and so he is tiny (40lbs, size 4t) and has a lot of lung " issues " . Nick is the healthiest person I know, never even gets a cold. We love to be outside, hiking, 4-wheeling, enjoy all the beauty of Colorado and we love the Denver Broncos (it has been a rough year).
