Howdy group, I'm Rebekah and have been married for 15 years to Jeff. We have (8) and Jo (2 1/2). We live in Oklahoma for the last year but before that, lived in Grand Junction, Colorado for 6 years. Hubby is a Federal Security officer and me, a SAHM for now. I'm looking at a home based business, Lia Sophia. brings us to this group. She has DS and Cerebral Palsy as her two main diagnoses. She has many, many other issues to include: Sleep Apnea with CPAP machine, Gastrostomy tube, glasses, hearing impaired with bilateral aids and most recently bilateral derotation osteotomies with bilateral heel cord tenectomies (for bilateral hip displasia. She just got out of her last SPICA cast November 30th!! She was just cleared Thursday to resume PT after all the two hip surgeries. She will definately ring the metal detectors at the airport when we go on the 23rd of this month! She is also a Kennedy Krieger Institute graduate of their Feeding disorders unit! A diploma that I am happy to display!! We spent 6 weeks a year ago learning how to eat inpatient. The 23rd is a follow-up in Baltimore. Anyway, enough enough. Jo is a typical 2 1/2 y.o.!! Oh dear, what payment for my raising I get with her. She loves tap and ballet in her Creative movement class. She loves to play dress up and aggrevate her sister. WHEW! I'm done.....
