Guest guest Posted January 21, 2008 Report Share Posted January 21, 2008 Hi all I am sure a few will chuckle at me over this- but anyways I have had a LLETZ procedure and 3 cone biopsies- all the pre cancerous cells are gone and my gyn told me after all the surgeries etc that sex etc is now fine Fats forward 12 months later- I Am 24 weeks pregnant. Have had 3 ultrasounds of my cervix. Cervix is not lazy. Placenta is away like it is supposed ot be. We were told 8 weeks ago not to have sex till dr saw if cervix is ok or not. Now she is telling me that I still cannot have sex for 6 more weeks till I am 30 week as semen might make the baby come early due to the prostaglandins in it and it may traumatize my cervix. She also said that she is now not worried about the cervix and I Will not have nay further scans. I am not sure how to take this news- I am off to my GP to seek her opinion in 1 hour- but considering all my experts here I thought I Would ask you guys. Is the doctor at the hospital being too conservative? or am I just being a cranky bum?? -- Aussie Leis- mum to , Natasha, and Jellybean I'm not a hero-I don't save the world.
