I'm sorry that I got a chuckle picturing you and climbing over

the boxes and such.... we have been building and renovating our house

for about 4 years now, and we've had similar climbs :-) I think that he

was thinking quite clearly when locking you out and turning on the

music, but maybe not clearly enough to see the final consequences of his

actions :-) But hey, great plan, he was thinking creatively, and isn't

that what we want, LOL. Devious, well, no more than a typical kid :-)

Several years ago, locked me out when I was outside gardening,

and she was sitting in front of the TV (very loud) and was either

ignoring me pounding on the door/windows, or couldn't hear with the TV

loud. I pounded and pounded, and she sat motionless in front of the

TV. Finally, I began thinking creatively :-) and went to the outside

power box and cut the power to the house. Then I ran back to the family

room window to see her staring in disbelief that the TV was off,

pointing the remote at it, and pushing buttons.... very comical. But,

at least she heard me at the window, and I guess figured I might fix the

TV for her, so she let me in. Needless to say, I carry my keys in my

pocket at all times when outside now.

Oh I can chuckle over the whole thing now. I was so mad when it

happened. And as Trent said it did show how clever he can

be..............and yes he does think outside the square.

Thanks for sharing the story re the tele- I can imagine my kids doing

the same thing........Good work thinking about the power- I may not have

thought of that one........

There is usually someone home, but from now on I Will make sure I have

either a phone or keys with me :) Esp as I Start to resemble an elephant
