Guest guest
Bengals act more like dogs than cats and I am betting she thinks he is her baby. She probably also smells a bit of milk and is acting like a momma would. Hopefully they will grow up and be best buds. Many believe there is a special relationship between our kids and animals - you could be seeing that even at the tender age of 7 months. Who knows. My bengals run when they see coming. Well, one runs anytime any of us comes near unless we have ham for her. is more bonded with our 9 year old - 130 pound Golden Retriever and is starting to bond with our 4 month old, almost 6 pound shih tzu. Take lots of pictures.....today's would have been priceless -- cindysue@... OT Odd situation with the cat and ds- 7 months - - lying on the living room floor - babbling away - on his tummy our cat " Farrah " (female bengal- very very domesticated) comes over and lies on top of him , sniffing his head, licking his head, nibbling the back of his neck (not hard at all) petting him, but physically sitting on him - he quiets down when she's there - - almost like he really likes it. this is the first I've EVER seen this happen and I " m very perplexed. She doesn't put a single claw out - or we'd know it with him - - he's not in any pain or we'd know it for certain. we haven't worried about the cat before - she sleeps at his feet all the time at nap time...... I can't tell if she thinks this is 'her' baby and preening him and trying to quiet him , if she's thinking he's a playtoy, or if she's tenderizing him for her next snack. Does anyone have any ideas on this one???? thanks ! LI NY
