Guest guest
, Thanks, but it's noyt that I'm insecure about peroxide. It's one of the things I've used all my life. I'm not even as careful as I should be with 35% H202. If I spill some on me I know I've got enough time to rinse it off before it burns. But, putting it in my ear is an aspect where I wanted to use the highest dilution that will work. I figure 3% is safe, but I'd rather use 2% if it will work. I'm a less-is-more kind of guy most of the time. I decided that if 3% was safe, I'd try 2% & as long as it bubbles, I won't give it another thought. jim > From: " Marcus " <cmarcus@...> > > Jey Jim, > > I can't point you to any specific studies or anything, but I > can say that my Mom used 3% on us when were children > (everything from scrapes to ear infections), and I have used > it many times on and off my entire life, with no problems > whatsoever. Guest guest
The store bought 3% H2O2 has worked in my ears too. If you have a cut or scrape it might sting but other than that no ill effects here. I think it did break up some congestion in the ears for me too. It felt like something was trying to come on so I tried it. Didn't have much congestion the next day. Going to do it again. One other guy I told about it was miserable and tried it, said it helped, no ill effects there either. Thanks for your help, Jim and you too, List. Appreciate you all. Blessings, Zell
