Sorry for keeping you hanging..I finally signed on. I did not get

home last night until after 9pm.

My UHC Hearing went better than expected. UHC was not rude and

actually seemed very interested in what I had to say. I only choked

up once.

They gave me no indication of what direction they would go..and one

on the panel was really fixated on the Orthotic issue.

I had some good exhibits including a list of 14 names (last names

hidden of course) where UHC paid the DOC band as a DME.

I hope I got my point across.

...That's awesome! Sounds like things went well even if they

didn't give you any indication. What did they say when you showed

them the list of names? I hope they were embarrassed and ashamed,

putting you (us) through that when it's clear they have paid it

before.

Sometimes I think they just want to see how far people are willing

to go. I have a friend whose nephew had a DOC band and she told me

her brother and sil got tired of fighting and just paid it. That's

what UHC wants.

Anyway, I'm very happy for you and I hope things turn out well. Keep

us posted!
