Hips related to the PT talk....

Dear all,

I have seen all the PT talk related to the legs being spread apart. I just

wanted to bring and up remind all of you to get your child's hips and neck

X-rayed. We were told to do it yearly until was 10. The reason I add

this is that just got through two hip surgeries that started Last July

13th. She was in a SPICA cast for that surgery and then the second surgery was

done October 15th. She had her second full SPICA cast for that surgery. Do

have an Ortho or Pedi keep a good eye on them! 's Xrays changed

dramatically in 6 months with much pain and hence the 2 surgeries we just

endured. She was just released to do normal activity last week. We had a tough

last year. She had also had a gtube revision surgery and complications from

that last Feb. 07. Just FYI.
