Guest guest
Hi, The OT was out the other day. She recommended leg exercises for the twins as there legs are bowed. Do you have any good sites we could look at or favorite exercises to do with the babies. The boys are 4.5 months old now.
Guest guest
I agree with Niki's reply, I've also heard bowlegs are very common in baby's til age 2.....BUT, let me tell you how badly bowed my legs are....both my sister & I have horrible bow legs, my sister is worse than me, there's a huge gap between our legs when we stand w/our feet together, it really doesn't bother me except when I'm in a shorter skirt, but my sister is quite self-conscience of her legs. It doesn't affect the way we walk or anything, just " cosmetic " (not this groups favorite word, hehe) for us anyway There's a little section in the " what to expect " series of book, I'm not sure if it's in the " what to expect the 1st year " or the " toddler years " book....I'll check it out when I get home tonite for you. Guest guest
I am sure that is one reason that he wants us to excercise 1st thing in the morning. But I also, do mine in the evening b/c I can't get to the gym til then (I have a home daycare). Last night I was so tired and stressed, I almost didn't go. I did go however and I must say that I had the best workout of my life. I just threw all that stress into the upper body workout. Sometimes if you seem tired, just get started anyway and your energy will come back.... works for me. As far as the leg excercises, I'm no expert, but I'd say squats- they work the same muscles as the leg press. Good luck to us all- we are all winners for being here!!! > I will be doing my first leg exercises tonight what can I do at home > for leg press? Also what happens if you are just too tired and get > home too late one night? Do you pick up the next day with what you > didn't do or skip it and do the next exercise (cardio)? Thanks
