Well, I was so upset, I sent Dr. Phil a letter!!! I am still raging about how

this " mom " acts!!! I understand how tired she can get....I understand how

difficult it is some days, just getting through the day....but please....quit

whining and wake up here!!!

I didn't see the show, but if the child is going to KKI for inpatient care,

then he is getting the best intervention. The parents have to demonstrate

they can master the skills needed to carry through after the inpatient part

is completed. KKI is good for children with severe behaviors. From another

list that I am on (as is the mother who appeared), the child will also be

seen by Dr. Capone. Dr. Capone has been seeing since he was a

newborn, yet it was a local psychiatrist who prescribed a high dose of

metadate that brought his behaviors way down.

We rarely use RAD at work. We use and are seeing Developmental Trauma
