Yes, the DOCband is quite successful in correcting facial assymetry.

Sometimes it takes a little longer for the face and ears to correct as

opposed to the flatness, but it will come - just give it some time.

Will the Docband correct facial asymmentry our child is 6 mthss old

and has been in the band for 2 weeks. Any help out there??

My son started the DOC band a week shy of 5 months and wore it approx. to 8

months- it helped GREATLY with the facial asymmetry.......he had the smaller

eye, the fuller cheek, the misaligned ears......there is only a hint of the

misaligned ears, but everything else is resolved. Good luck! you should see

great improvement!

Hi

My youngest son had facial asymmetry and ear misalignment. He went into the

band at 8 months and he is now 13 months but in a second band. The facial

assymentry had gone from the nose down. He just has some bossing on his

forehead which the second band is correcting. So my answer for me personally

is that Dylan has had correction and the band is working for us. It does

take time. With your child being 6 months old you should get alot of

correction with being younger. I wish you luck and keep us posted.
