Guest guest
I had a hard time finding a Plagiocephaly pillow for our 2 month old baby. I finally found a company at this web link: http://www.piloxs.com/products/productpages/PillowHead.htm Give them a try if your looking for a pillow. Guest guest
Our struggle was torticollis and plagiocephaly. Among the many gadgets we used was the Boppy Nest Noggin (which I liked for his stroller, swing, chair, etc.). Also, we used 2 different positioners to help encourage him to sleep on his right side since he favored the left. One positioner was made of 2 wedges that you place on either side. Somehow he was able to maneuver himself right over the wedge. The other positioner was quite expensive but desiged specifically for plagiocephaly " The Symmetry Sleep System. " But sadly that proved not to be effective. Our clever son would just maneuver himself completely around to be on his left side with his face planted in the pillow. Since that seemed unsafe to me we didn't use that long. I checked out the pillow you mentioned below wondered about it. After looking at so many of the positioners and sleep aids it seemed that many of them had some kind of memory foam in their design. This was used to help displace the pressure/weight of the head form being on one point. It seemed like using another pillow I would struggle with trying to keep our son on the pillow which brought me to the conclusion to just buy an infant memory foam mattress. I found one made of soy - polyurothane has a strong chemical smell. And we have been quite happy with it. And we did notice a small improvement when we started using it. I should let you know that it was shortly after getting the mattress that we did start treatment with the helmet - and that is where we really noticed a huge improvement. Hope this helps. > > Hello All, > > Wondering if anyone has tried a pillow from this site or something similar. Is it worth the money?
