Guest guest
Faulty Mother : OH BOY! You poor thing! I dunno what to suggest about your clueless husband besides let him spend a weekend alone with Nicolas! By no means is it your " fault " or are you " spoiling " him! EVERY book I've read says how this is common and part of our children growing up. Like I told Jill, Abby was her worst from ages 15-19 mos.. If you pick the child up while they're throwing their fit, it's only gonna make matters worse & piss the kid off all the more. The best thing you can do is ignore em & walk away. Usually w/i minutes they're over it & back to their normal self. The LAST thing you need is for your husband to be blaming you. Let me have a chat with Mr. - I'll set him straight! LOL. Do either of you have any nieces or nephews? Debbie Abby's mom MI > It's nice to know I'm not alone here: has started throwing tantrums > and he's only going on 15 months old!! And you know how at first its really > stressful, then you walk away and he's thrasing on the floor (my husband > thinks you should yank him up and not let him lay there, so I'm wrong to let > him wallow in self pity too), or I've done time out- your already unglued, > and then have your DH tell you its all your fault that he's throwing a > tantrum!!! I have tried to make him read articles that this is something > most kids do- but he likes to blame me for every little whine, every little > fit- as if I have spoiled him so (hardly the case) that when he doesn't get > his way, now its my fault! How do you deal with a whiny kid and a whiny > husband that thinks your at fault for every little thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! > I have threatened the " D " word because I am so mad that I'm the main > caretaker (besides daycare!) and he is telling me how to run the show like he > is all-knowing! > > Faulty mother
