Just wondering what others' experiences were at this late of band placement. My son was rated mod./severe before it was placed. How good of a result should we really hope for ? Maybe 2 bands? Thanks! S.

Hi

My son Dylan started the DOCband at 8 months he was classed as severe so he

wore the first band for just over 3 months and then he went into a second

band just after his 1st birthday (7th feb) i knew he was going into a second

band from the start. I have seen an amazing improvment his head has rounded

nicely at the back and his face is now in symmetry he has got some bossing

on his forehead still and his ears are still misaligned but nothing compared

to what there were. So Dylan has had good correction so far, so you will see

an improvement and if he needs a second band you are just doing the best for

your child. I wish you luck hope this has helped a little.

Best wishes

Kerry - Marcus (3)Dylan (1)

> Thanks Kerry, Your comments were very helpful! Glad to hear you've

had great results. The second band thing is still so far out there

for us as we are commuting by air for this. We are still hoping to

get enough correction with 1 band! Guess we should broaden my

thinking though! 2 bands may be in our lives also! Thanks! S.
