Uneven lower gums ?

I'm so glad to see this group - you all seem so supportive of each

other!!

I have a 4 1/2 week old, Evan, who appears to have plagio and mild

tort as he pulled to the left for 2 weeks until I started the

streches, and has a ridge on the left side of his head, is flat on

the front right and back left, has a fuller cheek - and had a harder

time openning right eye - this seems better?? the one thing I

haven't seen mentioned is that his lower gums are uneven. I can only

tell this when he cries. Has anyone else experienced this? We are

going tomorrow to his ped. and I'm asking for a referral to a

specialist in our area, Atlanta. The one point of confusion for me

is that he seems to have pretty good control of his head, for his

age!, is this normal? Also, since I've started the streches he will

turn his head in all directions and does not always have the tilt.

Is this normal for tort?

Also, since he has flat places on the front right side of his head

and the back lower left side, I'm uncertain how to reposition him.

Any help or advice? I hate to wait until I see the specialist as

this could be a few more weeks.

Thanks so much for your responses!
