Urgent Help Needed - Non DS

Hi Guys,

There is a proposal to built a diesel fuelled power plant in our area. The

1st we knew about this proposal was on 25th May and we have until 20th June

to object.There are 11 schools within 10 kms of this proposed plant and the

water supply for 70,000 is 8 km's away.

I am desperately trying to get some facts and figures on the health effects

of these plants. Does anyone live in an area with one of these plants ? Does

anyone know anyone etc, who has studied the health effects of these plants ?

Anyone who has successfully stopped the building of one of these plants ?

Etc .....

I've done the google bit, but there's just so much info out there,and so

much of it is really technical stuff, that I just haven't got the time, or

brain power to decipher.

I've been asked to write some articles and press releases to try and get

some press involved, but I really want to make sure what I'm saying is

backed by actual facts.

So please, if anyone knows anything please help. I am a desperate woman ....
