Guest guest
Debbie, the " fiberglass roll " (don't know what else to call it), is like what they use on some leg casts etc, you wet the roll, and then wrap it around whatever you're casting. our orthotist, puts a tiny foam roll in the place on the head where the flat spot is to leave a little area to cut it off with scissors before it completely hardens. He said it doesn't get so extremely hot when you're casting like traditonal casting does. He still uses the stockinette under it, and cuts the same eye and nose holes etc. Uses some kind of marker to mark on the stockinette where to trim and that carries over to the cast.
