8 w/down syndrome we are finally going to get help with his behavior!!!

well tri-county in our area was NO help what so ever they told me that

they havent seen him hitting on me so they could offer no help well we

just got a new physical therapist she actually got to see just what he

does to me and she gave me the name and number to a behaviorest in

texas childrens hosp. his appointment isnt till December but at least

we are on the right road to help i just dont know how much more i can

take from him he is 8 and if this is still going on in five years he

will really be hurting me or someone else. thank god we are getting

some help. that is a blessing i have been so worried about this for a

long time his little sister is scared of him and she shouldnt have to

be scared in her own home it makes me feel so bad but i didnt know what

to do to control him but now things are looking better maybe they can

help us out i am going to be praying. school starts on monday and that

will help us alot at least he will not be sitting at home bored and

taking everything out on me and his little sister.if anyone has any

suggestions about controlling his behavior please feel free to tell me
