Surgery Guidelines

Greetings

Last December I thought I dodged a bullet by not having surgery and

going on Inspra instead.

Late last week I had a very sharp piercing pain in the back of my

head and then sweats and loss of stability, I wrote my primary a

letter describing the event in great detail. My primary is also my

kidney guy.

Well I am to report to his office first thing this AM to be fitted

with a 24hr BP monitoring device.

Now this brings me back to the surgery thing, he took the position

that until the tumor reaches 4cm that surgery was not in my future,

Dr. Grimm stated that most tumors are around 1cm when extracted.

Mine is 1.4 x 1.3 and has been very stable in size, but I fear that

it is getting more active.

Is there a guideline or research study that can be downloaded so I

can show the Dr. and have him rethink his position?
