Guest guest
Hi, will be turning 18 this month- OMG yes 18 my baby... So I think I have a handle on what I have to do. I am either going to Social Security today or emailing them- you can also apply on line. I am a little confused about the letter they need about living expenses- does that just come from me? Or is it a more 'formal' letter? I know I also have to contact someone about guardianship- I'm on top of that. I also have to register her to vote- OK wont give my political opinion here, but we'll have one more person hopefully voting on the left side of the fence, lol. Also- has been working all summer with Summer Youth Employment and will make like $1,000 for the month. They are also thinking about having the seniors work for pay at her HS like 3 hours a day. So how does this all effect Social Security? I know she cant have more than a certain amount of money- and shes making minimum wage which just went up- any suggestions about that? OK- any and all info is greatly appreciated on those who have already turned 18- especially in the NY area. OMG- 18..... ~ Mom to , 17 and 11 months, DS, Diabetes Type 1, Celiac Disease and , just 14 and annoying as one that age could possibly be- Brooklyn, NY **************Looking for a car that's sporty, fun and fits in your budget?
