Guest guest
Hi. For some reason, my computer will not let me reply, so I have to start a new post. Anyway, your story and how you are feeling sound exactly like me. We got a late start because out doctor kept telling us his head would pop out. Boy, now that I look back, pop out seems such a wierd thing to say. I don't want to discourage you, because my son started out with moderate plagio, and now has mild plagio. Just tonight, I have really done some thinking about going to Cranial Tech, but I just don't know if I really need to. We have about 3 months to go, so I'm thinking about taking him to a craniofacial doctor with his helmet off, and asking him what he thinks. Pretending that he has never had a helmet. I think that's the only way for me to get a nonbiased opinion- from someone who does not know what we have been through. Please don't get discouraged though, because we saw NO improvement in the first 3 months, and then his head started to round after that. We also cut his hair in the back and that made a HUGE improvement. My son also does not have any hair to speak of, so hopefully his hair will cover some of the flatness. The problem that I see is the view of my son's head from the back. It looks great from the front, both sides and he never has had facial asymmetry. It's just that from the back his head resembles Charlie Brown. Thanks for listening. Lori.
