Guest guest
Hello to all: I have to ask, is it just me or are there alot of children out there with flat heads? I really don't get out too much with Rhiannon, as I am spending alot of my time right now just getting her to her therapies and helping her through the last of her first Minnesota cold and flu season, but the last 3 times I have been out I have seen 3 babies with severely flat heads - all brachy (no bands). Also, just today while nursing I turned on Martha Baby program, and one little guy she had on was completely flat in the back. I actually mentioned to my husband " wouldn't it be weird if we went through all of this and Rhia turned out to be the only kid in her class with a round head! " It is apparent that there is an appalling lack of information out there to help parents prevent this very preventable deformation. I would be interested to know if there are any studies that have been done on the long-term effects for the kids that are not treated and do not self-resolve? Thanks, , Rhiannon's mom
