Guest guest
Hi Val & Dr. GRim Sorry it took so long to get back but the NG was closed friday and I could not post. Went to Sacramento sat. I made a mistake on the labs their so tricky to figure out sometimes. Urine 24HR VOL 4275 H 800-1500 I presume that is the volume in the jug in a half i collected. the calcium is U CALC 5.1 no range ? UCAL/24H 218 100-300 So I guess I am normal in calcium. What I am wondering since my volume is high and my cortisol is 23.5 range < 45.0 Only half of what it could be If i drank less water would the cortisol come out lower? I have hyperpigmentation especialy on my gums and arms and under my nail beds, which goes away when I am on hydrocortisone the Endos say it is not related but I believe it is and has been. Has any one ever been high in aldosterone due to a adrenal adenoma and low in cortisol? I will also take this to the 's group to Mike Welch he is a Bio chemical scientist and works in Pathalogy for 30 years and has 's. I have yet to fax my finding of high aldosterone, testosterone, and DHEA to the Endo as they just seem to deny everything I have told them in the past especially the high blood pressure problem which came out of no where in a 10day period. They have treated me like I was a wack and offered me anti depressants which insulted my intellagence big time. Masking a problem like Conn's with anti ds is not going to fix anything. Any comments are welcome. Thanks for responding. ita ita

What I am wondering since my volume is high and my cortisol is 23.5 range < 45.0 The cortisol is normal so no Cushings and the high volume may be due to PA or you drink a lot of water every day. I will also take this to the 's group to Mike Welch he is a Bio chemical scientist and works in Pathalogy for 30 years and has 's. You dont have addisons with a normal cortisol.
