While the program ended January 31, 2002, here is new information that may be helpful to you: 1. If you are receiving a toy that is on backorder, we’ll send you a special book of coupons to thank you for your patience. And, you should have already received a letter with the date your item will be shipped. The majority of toys in the program have already been shipped, and all backordered toys should be sent by the end of summer. 2. If you placed an order before the program’s January 31, 2002 deadline, but after toy supplies were gone, we’ll send you a check for the comparable cash value of the toy plus the shipping and handling fees you sent us. You should have already received a letter letting you know the toys are no longer available. We expect to mail the checks by the end of May. This cash payment allows you to buy a toy of your choice for your child. We value every mom and dad, and we’re sorry we’ve disappointed anyone. For your convenience, we’ve provided the following FAQs. This is the quickest way to access the latest Perks information. 1. When did the Pampers Perks Program end? The US Perks program ended January 31, 2002, as posted on the Pampers website and in the Perks promotional materials. The toys were offered on the basis of while supplies last with products subject to availability, and given the unprecedented demand, Perks ran out of toys. A separate program was run in Canada that ended March 31, 2002. 2. Can I choose a check instead of my backordered toy? We hope you’ll understand we cannot offer you a check. If you have cancelled or wish to cancel your order, we will return the shipping and handling fees and points you sent us. However, we hope you’ll continue to wait for your toy as we are working hard to get it to you. It is in the process of being made and delivered for shipment to you, unless you cancel your order. We are truly sorry that the backordered toys are taking so long. We’re doing all that we can to speed this up. We will send you a special book of coupons to thank you for your patience and expect to mail the coupons to you by the end of May. 3. I received a letter that asks me to return a postcard or call the Perks number to confirm my participation or to cancel my order. Do I still need to do this? Yes. We encourage you to send in the postcard right away to: Pampers Perks, P.O. Box 2020, Ridgely, land, 21687-2020. If this is not possible, please call the Perks toll free number, 1-866-422-2973, weekdays between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. (EDT). 4. I received a notice my toy is backordered. When will I receive my order? The expected shipping date is on the notice mailed to you. As a thank you for your patience, we’ll send you a special book of coupons. We expect to mail the coupons to you by the end of May. 5. If my toy is on backorder in the U.S., can I order items from the Perks Canada program instead? The Canadian program is for residents of Canada only. 6. My Shipping and Handling Check was cashed. Why haven’t I received my toy? Standard practice is to cash checks for shipping and handling fees when they’re received. If your toy is backordered, you should have received a letter letting you know the expected shipping date. If your order came in after toy supplies ran out, we’ll return the shipping and handling fees you sent us and send you a check for the comparable cash value of the toy. 7. I received a car other than the Lil Wrangler I ordered. You could receive one of several colors and similar styles. All of the styles in the Perks program are the one-seater type of Jeep-like cars. 8. I sent an email/called your toll free number, and have had trouble getting through. We’re very sorry. We’ve added phone lines to help you reach us, but we’re still getting a large number of calls. We posted these FAQs because of this and to make it more convenient for you to get the information you need. This is the quickest way to get the latest information so you may want to check these FAQs every once in awhile. Because of the volume of email we’re receiving, the best way to contact us is to call our toll free line at 1-866-422-2973 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. (EDT). We appreciate your patience. 9. If the Perks program has ended, why are there still Perks Points on the packaging? Will I be able to use these for a future promotion? You may continue to see Perks points on the package, but they are being removed as we make packaging changes. The program has ended, so these points can no longer be submitted for this promotion. We currently have no plans for future promotions. 10.
