Guest guest
Awsome!! Its a little work but nothing like going all the way back through school!! I understand about public thinking; its an automatic to assume adults are going to be hypercritical, but usually where wrong. Besides did you do a demo before at the gatherings? It was fun, and nerve racking but you got through it!! Just try to have fun with it. Gabby > > I had my appointment with the professor at the local college this > morning. She was super helpful! Guest guest
Nope, Gabby, I've never done a demo at the gatherings. I get extremely flustered when I have to talk in public. My ears and face go bright red, it's rather embarassing! Guess I'll have to fight my way thru it since teaching is all about speaking in front of others. Guest guest
I took Speech in college. I was terrified at first. I have the gift of gab but not when it comes to public speaking. I'd rather shave my eyebrows! The class was great! I had a blast! We didn't just do long boring speeches - like the presidential speeches. We had to do demos and give reports on articles we read. We had to do interviews in class. It was so much better than I expected! It got really easy about half way through the semester because you start to know the people in class so it's not difficult. Good luck on school! It may be challenging, but it is sooooo worth the end result!!! :-) ~Shyra A.
