Guest guest
Gail, We took 's portraits without the helmet for the most part. We have lots of pictures taken with our own cameras of her in her helmet and we felt that this was good enough. We have one professional photo of in her helmet decorated with the local college football stickers on it and her in her " cheerleader " outfit holding a little football. Too cute really - it was the year our college team won the National Championship so we just couldn't resist. I get more comments on that picture then any of the others! Just another great excuse to talk about plagio - Jeez - I guess I need to get a life!! LOL!! I guess I would say go ahead and take the bands off - it won't hurt a thing and you will get plenty of snapshots of them in their band over the next few months. Guest guest
Hi Gail, Its really a personal choice to photo in the band or not. We took so many photos and video of in the band, that we decided to take it off for the professional photos. Another reason was that we would be sending it out to family; not that we were embarrassed or felt shame because the band was on, but some family members think like the outside world, and would have felt there was something " wrong " with him- we decided to keep that part of our world to ourselves so that it would not create a problem for him later in life with family members undercutting his genius!
