Guest guest
Hi Darcy, I am sure he will eventually get used to it and I am sure Madeleine will adjust well. I just happen to have the most strong willed child on the planet ( he must get that from his father :-) Art said that it could take a few weeks for him to adjust. He said that some babies get used to wearing the helemt almost immediately and in a couple of days are in it full time. Unfortunately it will probably take a bit longer in our case. He did not sleep in it last night...we couldn't keep it on his head for longer than 15 min after supper. So far today it is the same story. He had the helmet on for 15 minutes and whined/cried the whole time. He is now down for a nap and I will try again later. The good news is that the helemt doesn't look so big to me today. I must be getting used to it already. (By the way, Art has been wonderful. I have already e-mailed him with a bunch of questions and he got back to me immediately.) I'll let you know how does as the week progresses. But remember..every child has a different personality. Madeleine could take to the helmet like a duck to water. Dana PS. The Wiggles are a group of 4 guys from Australia that sing/dance etc. ( http://www.thewiggles.com) could usually care less about TV or cartoons BUT if I put on his wiggles tape then he is entertained for an hour. Go figure! Great for when I am getting supper ready! > > Dana: > > Congrats on getting 's helmet! Yay! > > He should adjust fairly quickly.
