Guest guest
Sue, I hope you don't mind if I comment on your last post. I just want to say that is really hard and it makes you feel so isolated sometimes. I often feel the same with my kids. It has helped a lot as they've gotten older though. One thing that really helped us especially with my younger son is going all the time. We try and do SO much with DS org. ie Special Olympics, so when we had to deal with behaviors it wasn't so awkward because it was very common. After they matured it got so much better. I also found that developmental (community based programs) was a life saver. They are trained to deal with all of that and eventually they stop. It really helped us!
