Seroquel for sleep?

I was wondering if anyone has used seroquel to help with sleep, as well

as behaviors? What were your feelings on this drug and was it helpful

for your children?

Gavin was on Geodon for quite sometime, and it was great, but it just

wasn't working throughout the night anymore and he started getting up

several times. His specialist put him on Seroquel and we are not liking

the side effects, but since we only started on Friday, we didn't want

to stop without giving it a fair chance.

I read that some of you use melatonin and we do plan on trying this as

well, but I just don't think it's going to do the trick alone. Any

other suggestions of what we can try? We're ALL losing precious sleep!!

Hi Traci - long time no see!!!! Is Gavin still following in 's

footsteps? was on trazadone, but we took him off all his

medications with the exception of his seizure meds. He sleeps so much

better now.
