Hi there & welcome to our group!

Congratulations on the birth of your twins. We have many members in

our group who have twins. I looked at their picture, even though I

couldn't see their faces, I can tell they're adorable. I did notice

the flatness on the baby with their head up. You most certainly have

time to reposition & get some great success with repositioning. Your

twins are at a great younger age to see very good results with

repositioning. I have never heard of the " baby abby " sleep

positioner. We have many links for other repositioning devices in

our " bookmark " section of our group. Also check out the following

link for other great repositioning tips:

http://www.plagiocephaly.org/support

Good luck with your repositioning, I hope it helps & you won't need

to decide whether or not to get a band or helmet. Please keep us

updated on their progress. Also let us know when you are able to get

an appt. with Childrens Hospital. We have a few other Boston area

members who will hopefully give you some advice from your area.

Welcome again - best of luck!

Hi and welcome to the group!! I am also the proud parent of twins,

both of whom wore bands to correct their plagio (those are my cuties

on our groups homepage....I told you I was proud!) At two months,

Zack and Zoey are at a wonderful age to receive excellent correction

from repositioning. I think it is terrific that both you and your

doctor are so aware of the condition and have already been working at

it using the sleep positioner. There are some really useful

repositioning tips here:

http://www.plagiocephaly.org/support/repotech.htm

With aggressive repositioning, you really do have a good chance of

avoiding the helmet altogether. Be sure to take pictures of the

twins head on a weekly basis from all angles to help document any

changes in the head shape. We do have a few parents here from the

Boston area, hopefully they will chime in and let you know what their

experiences have been like at Children's. Good luck to you and keep

us posted!

> Hi and welcome to the group!!

Thanks for the welcome. Well my twin stinkers have been doing some

amazing gymnastics to land on their preffered sides. Since Zack is

less stubborn he has resigned himself to the new sleeping positions.

I'm still working on Zoey (the girl would rather twist herself in

half and stair at a wall, than a perfectly fun mobile).

Leave it to the girl to be the more difficult one!! Just remember,

these are things that would make real good guilt trips when she is a

teenager giving you a hard time! Keep at it, hopefully it will get

easier. I'm glad to hear that Zack is doing so well with the

repositioning, great job!

By the way, I really like how you used the same initial for both

twins. We have another set of twins here who share 'S' as their

common initial. I had wanted to name my twins le and ,

or and , but my hubby talked me out of it. He was

afraid things like their birth certificates or social security

numbers might get mixed up. Can you tell he's the brains in the

family? ;o)

Keep us posted on Zack and Zoey!
