I am so happy for you! I am on an appeals journey

myself. I haven't started gathering my information,

yet, but I plan on starting soon. It is so nice to

hear that someone's fight ended with a win!!! My

insurance (M-Care) is refusing the helmet because they

are calling it a " protective helmet " . After the first

denial I had my ped., phy. therapist, and the helmet

company send information. However, the information

wasn't faxed until March 29th and the second denial

letter was dated March 29th. My insurance company

told me that they reviewed the information that was

sent and denied it a second time. They didn't even

receive the information before the second denial

letter was sent. I am so mad that they lied about

this. They didn't even take the time to review the

important information that was sent. I am so

frustrated! I'm sorry I don't want to rain on your

parade. At least I know an appeal can be won. Great

job! Thanks for listening!!
