Guest guest
Hello everyone, My name is Dees and I am a martial artist, living in Toronto, Canada. I am a recognized martial artist and fighter, and I also happen to work with children and adults with down syndrome and autism. We are working on a Karate program in Toronto with children and adults with down syndrome, and need to acquire and promote interest in this program. If you know of anyone living in Toronto, or the GTA, or even Ontario, who would be interested in such a program, please let me know. I can be contacted at karate4change@... Also, any general feedback or comments on whether or not you think such a program would be of interest to families, would be great as well. Advice etc, anything. When I work with children or adults, I notice a lack of real programs or interesting programs for them. Am I off? Or am I sensing truth in that? It seems so many seem to be sedentary and motivated to join teams or groups. My program is challenging, and serious. This isn't a program that is just splashed together. This is something to be proud of, and not that easy to hang with. The program is there to make any child or adult able to protect themselves, and instill self confidence, discipline, and a lack of fear to confront his or her own problems, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Let me know and email me any time if you have any ideas or interest. Have a wonderful holiday season. Regards,
