Guest guest
Niki, Thank you so much for replying. I did not know about waiting on the letter to appeal. Thanks for the helpful info. Definitely do not want to make any mistakes since I am sure insurance would use it to their advantage. Thanks, Re: Denied for Doc Band by First Health ,I am sorry to hear of your denial, I imagine that you must be very frustrated. What I can remember from reading so many of these posts is not to start anything until you have received the official letter of denial (someone, please, correct me if I'm wrong) Once you do have the latter then you can proceed with the casting, while appealing simultaneously. I think it has something to with the insurance company could then deny you for starting treatment without proper authorization. I hope someone who has dealt with insurane hassles will respond to you. Also, try to get on the cancellation list of your specialist, and call a few times a week so that they don't forget about you! Good luck , please keep us posted!NikiKaylie & Danny (STAR grads)Phila., PA> Well we just found out we were denied for the Doc Band by First > Health. Anybody have any dealings with them?
