Mercans do not observe Boxing Day. I think it's a lovely custom and we

should observe it.

No we do not do Boxing Day in the US.   I wish we did.  It sounds like fun.  The

only time it is a legal holiday is when Christmas falls on Sunday.  I think that

Kwaanza may be celebrated on December 26 but am not sure.

The only thing significant, historically in the US on Dec. 26, is that two of

our 44 Presidents have died on Dec. 26.  Harry Truman in 1972 and Gerald R. Ford

in 2006.

Have a wonderful Christmas...and Boxing Day everyone.

Hi Guys,

I was just wondering, what do you guys do on the 26th December ? Do you have

Boxing Day or is it just the day after Christmas ? Is it a holiday too ?
