at 5 1/2 months they were banded. Sara will be done in 2 weeks (6

weeks total time) and she looks great. In fact, if we took the band

off today she would probably be fine. She is a great example of

starting early. She has had a few good growth spurts in the last

month and her progress was obvious after only a few days in the

band. Sam is also making great progress, but his plagio was a bit

more severe. He will probably outgrow his band within the next 3

weeks and we might be faced with the decision of whether or not to

reband.

twins have had in such a short time while in their DOCbands! I am

very happy for you. Those bands really are amazing aren't they? Way

to go!

Thanks so much. We are very pleased with the progress and we have no regrets about our decision to band them. My husband keeps bringing up the point that 6 weeks in the band = $500/week for Sara, but it is soooo worth it. They'll probably both be out of their bands before we even hear back on our insurance appeal. Keep your fingers crossed on the appeal...

Especially with 2 bands! That's a lot of money but like you said,

it's worth it
