Most of her chums at Sunshine Center where she works have cell phones and I was surprised when she asked me if she could have one too. I thought that perhaps this will encouraged to not be so shy about phones, so I got her one. I programmed it with the numbers of family members, showed her how to use it, then told her to go into the next room and call me on my cell all by herself. By , she did it! Then I told her to call her siblings and give them her number. She said, " I'm not ready yet. " Oh well.
