I was on my way to take her to school. She was with me because I had volunteered to help at the book fair, but we were running late, and I was in one of these don't joke-with-me moods. Livi kept trying to pass me a cd to play from all the way in the back of the van, and I kept telling her " I can't reach it, you'll have to wait " . I kept hearing, " But Mommy, I need it! " Finally, I tell her " There is no way I can stretch myself back there to get that cd, so forget it! " Then, she said, " Mommy, giraffe!
