Does any one have any comments? Good or bad?

My son is 10 and will be 11 in February. He started junior high this year

and he has had a very hard time.

A lot has happened - there was no communicating between the 4th and 5th

grade teachers b4 school started and the 4th grade teacher passed away in

October

.. My son was suspended 1 day and everyday is a laundry list of behavior

issues.

I spoke with the pediatitrison yesterday and she told me to think about

adderall or ritalin. She said there have been studies ( that she has done also

)

that in kids with DS it shows a night and day difference in behavior during

puberty. Does anyone have any 1st hand knowledge of this ? I really hate

the idea of " medicating " him but also want him to get the most out of school

that he can.
