Cigna crusader going on a vacationADVERTISEMENTHi all- First of all thanks for all the kind words about getting Cigna to pay and Owen graduating. I LOVE snuggling with his little head now. I just wanted to let you all know I am going to be out of town for the next two weeks because I am going to Kentucky to see the Rolex 3 Day ( horse show) and I won't be able to check my email. If you need help with Cigna please email me and I will be back at the beginning of May. I can't wait to relax and not worry about the idiots at Cigna anymore (yes, I am a litte bitter still :>) Take care and talk to you soon.- mom to Owen 4/2/01 banded 12/5/01 Graduated 4/12/02 For more plagio info

It took her lots of work & appeals, but she finally got Cigna to pay for her son's DOCband. I'll find her information & give you her email address, she is very very helpful & offers assistance to anyone fighting Cigna. I think she might currently be on vacation, but I'm sure she'll help you in your fight.!I also think I saw a recent post where Cigna paid for another DOCband, I'll see what I can find on that too while I'm at it!I am glad Braeden's tort. is improving thus far. Keep up with the stretching & physical therapy, I'm sure it can be very frustrating at times. You are very lucky to have caught Braeden's tort & plagio at such a young age. You'll get excellent correction while he is in his band being at a younger age.I don't have many good suggestions in keeping him in place! Kids, especially with tort. can be quite stubborn in sleeping or lying in different positions. Maybe look at our Bookmarks section in our group for some repositioning products? Sorry!Welcome again, we're glad to have you....I'll be right back with Cigna winners! Please keep us updated.Debbie Abby's mom DOCGradMI> Hello Everyone,> > I am new here my name is Trisha I have 2 ds's on is almost 4 and my baby is 4mos today. I noticed at about 8 weeks that Braeden held his head funny and was getting flat in the back. Low and behold @ his 2 mo appt. the Ped diagnosed Torticollis & then the road began. We had a hard time getting into see anyone because of insurance they didn't have anyone on our policy and finally I found someone. We have been in therapy for about 4 weeks and are noticing changes in his Tort but we can not get his head to make any changes....We went to a Craniofacial specialist and he has prescribed the Doc Bad due to Braeden having Severe deformity w/Plagio & Brach???....Now here is where my problem is really getting bad...We have Cigna PPO and Cranio Tech has said that they are the worst and NEVER pay....and We can not afford the band w/o help. Their payment plan is $600.00 down & $350.00 a month...have any of you dealt w/Cigna PPO on this and do any of you have any advise for me on how to help my Little Angel stay in the new positions he does not like it at all...> > Thanks to Everyone & I thank God I found this place!!!!> > Trisha> (Drake 4 y/o & Braeden 4 mo. w/tort & plagio) > > >
