Lori,

It is in very rare occurrences that the head shape may revert back

and have some flatness, but again it is very rare. At 20 months,

your son's bones will be stronger and won't be at risk. Remember,

most companies will not band at that age because the bones are no

longer maleable.

Lori:

The chances of a child's head shape re-flattening post graduation is

very very rare. Re-flattening usually occurs when a child graduates

from their band at a young age. At 20 mos the chances of your son

getting flat after he graduates, is VERY VERY unlikely!

Try not to worry about it. Let us know when he does graduate.

Hi Lori...

My son was banded at 10 mos and graduated at 14 mos. He looked

great when he 1st graduated! BUT...gradually over the past 3 mos.

his head has managed to go almost completely flat on the left side

again. I am going to make an appt. to take him in and be evaluated

but I highly doubt at this point there will be much they will be

able to do for him. I'll let you know what & (they

banded him) say when they see what has happened.
