Appeal tomorrow- they better run for cover!

I had Guy fax off a load of info to UHC today (about 2 inches

thick). The Appeals Coordinator never called back about having the

guy from the WSJ conference in. I left a message and included it in

my cover letter, so he's a go as far as I am concerned.

I got an email from a mom in Atlanta who got her DOC band covered as

DME, not an orthotic. She gave me the procedure code to prove it

was not an orthotic.

Thanks to everyone for reinspiring me when I thought yesterday I had

hit a roadblock! helped relight my fire. Kellie proofed my

rather stern letter to UHC. Kellie, my mom read that and said maybe

they will change their minds on the letter alone - and she is a very

doubtful Health Care Administrator!

I will bring them to their knees. I'll let you know how it goes

tomorrow morning. I am hoping to be a precedent for other parents!
