Hi everyone

A quick question. Dylan has woke up the past two nights at 3am!! and wanted

to start playing but he was chewing his fingers and then tried to chew on my

wooden bed. (arrghh) He then got really upset and would not go back to

sleep. I am not sure what to give him for teething pain as i only know what

i gave my older son when we still lived in the UK - its was called Capol.

Any suggestion would be appreciated. Dylans 14 months now. Thanks

regards

Orajel is the fastest way to relief, as it is applied to the gums. It has a numbing affect. Some people don't recommend it (can't remember why!), but many parents have had lots of luck with it (including myself). Just don't use gobs of it! ;o) Run

It is not recc because if it is swallowed instead of soaked into the gums then the throat can go numb-but just be careful not to apply a large amount-another great alternative which our ped-rec. is hylands teething tablets. Theyare wonderful and we use them all the time.

Either will have it near the pharmacy.

A shot of Tylenol should dull the pain for an extended period.

Good luck!

Kerry,

Oh boy, do I know how tired you are!!! has been doing the same

thing waking up at 2 or 3 am! The orajel really works well, within minutes

(nighttime formula) he passes out. We use tylenol or motrin as well. Good

luck- I hope we can both get some sleep soon!
