Glad to hear that the casting is over and Gabby still loves her mom! Sounds

like overall the experience was pretty positive and you received some good

info! Let us know when you have a firm date for the band!

I'm glad it went well for you and Gabby! At our casting appointment for Sam we got a similar response about his plagio beginning in utero. The word they used to describe his head shape was "complicated". He has the obvious flat spot on the back, right side, but he also has a spot on the opposite side in the temporal region, as well as forehead bossing and the other usual shapes. Most of his odd spots have rounded out quite nicely and quickly, so hopefully Gabby's will too. We're really only having problems with the main flat spot in the back. He may outgrow the band before it "pops out". Even so, he looks so much better. You have a lot to look forward to in the next few weeks and months. I'm excited for you. Let us know how it goes.

la still loves me!

well we survived the casting! She screamed through the whole thing which I pretty much expected. She loved the ladies at CT and was chatting and waving to them before and after the casting. The woman who did our casting said la has plagio that is obviously from in utero. She doesn't have just one flat spot and they are in strange places that could not have come from the position we layed her in. She said la most definitely has tort and was horrified the PT told us to limit tummy time and that PT would only make her mad so why do it!! In fact she asked the name of the place so as not to recommend it to anyone!! She gave me a list of excersises to start doing with Gabby. I am so relieved the casting is over. Should get her band in about 2 weeks!! She did not estimate the amount of time it would take for the band to work. Since Gabby has other spots that even I did not notice I wonder if it might take longer?Plus her age. Oh well at least we are getting started!!!!! and GabbyFor more plagio info

Great news!!!! The casting process seems so much worse looking at pictures

until you are actually there and you see how quickly they are happy campers

again! I'm so glad they gave you stretches for the tort! Its funny that you

say now you see flat spots you hadn't seen before- so did I! I was surprised

to see areas that never really showed up before, and it didn't make the time

in the band any longer (his plagio also started inutero and the tort

progressed areas). Good luck to you and please keep us posted!!
